Meet the Team

Alicia Antman, MD

Alicia Antman earned her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude in 2000 with a major in Biological Basis of Behavior. After college, she attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, earning her MD in 2006. Dr. Antman went on to complete her pediatric residency at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, MI in 2009. She served an additional year as Chief Resident, helping to educate incoming residents and workingin a clinic for teen moms and their children.

Dr. Antman moved to Connecticut with her family in 2010 and practiced pediatrics until 2014. After a leave devoting herself as a full-time mom, Dr. Antman returned to practice at Hamden Pediatrics in 2019. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She currently lives in Guilford, CT with her husband and two children. In her free time, Dr. Antman is an active PTO parent and enjoys baking, spending time at the beach in summer, and skiing with her family in winter.
