Congratulations! The arrival of a new baby is the beginning of a rewarding and exciting time in any parent's life. Choosing the right pediatrician is an important decision and we are thrilled you are considering Hamden Pediatrics. Please take some time to review our website. If you are interested in joining us, we request that you schedule a prenatal visit prior to your delivery. This appointment gives you an opportunity to meet your pediatrician in advance and ask any questions you may have. It also allows us to collect important family health information, identify high-risk conditions that may require special care, and provide some guidance on what to expect after your newborn arrives. Our prenatal visits generally last 45 minutes and cost $180. While most insurances cover this service, please check with your provider prior to your appointment.

Our office is affiliated with Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. If you are delivering at the York Street campus, simply let your obstetrician and hospital staff know that your pediatrician is Hamden Pediatrics. They will contact our office after your baby is born. Babies born at other hospitals are also welcome to join our practice. Please ask your discharging physician for a paper copy of your child’s birth record and schedule an appointment in our office for the day after your discharge.
