Virtual Visits
Parking Lot Visit Protocol:
We are scheduling in person visits for children with COVID-19 like symptoms as “Parking Lot Visits.” The doctor will talk with you about your child’s symptoms before deciding if they should be seen in the office or if they should be examined in the car. Either way, your child will be examined in person by a doctor. Due to the size of the office, we feel that this is the safest way to prevent the spread of potential COVID-19 to our youngest and high risk patients.
- When you arrive at our office, please call the front desk to check in. Office staff will send a text message with a link to your cell phone. You can’t reply to this text message.
- Please click on this link which will bring you to a virtual waiting room.
- CLICK HERE TO PAY YOUR COPAY FOR TODAY’S VISIT THROUGH THE PATIENT PORTAL. Don’t have a portal account? Speak with the front desk to sign yourself up! Your copay must be paid by the end of the business day. Please note: Appointments are not billed until at least 24 hours after the visit, so please kindly submit your copay/balance even if there is a zero dollar balance on the portal.
- When the doctor joins the meeting, they will discuss your child’s symptoms. At this point, the pediatrician will clear you to come up to the office or they will put on PPE (personal protective equipment) and come down to your car to examine the child in person.
Telemedicine Protocol:
We are still offering telemedicine appointments to families.
- When you schedule your appointment with the office, staff will ask for your cell phone number. Please provide a number that has video capability.
- At the time of the visit, the office will send a text message to the number that you provided. You can’t reply to this text message.
- When you click on the link, it will bring you to a virtual waiting room. Please wait for your doctor to join. Your child will need to be present for the visit, unless previously discussed with the office.
